It fits standard North American 3-ring binders, whose rings sit 4.25 in (108 mm) apart. That spacing dates to William P. Pitt’s 1904 patent, and it is why a three-hole-punched 8.5 × 11 in sheet fits every US binder.

Five Star doesn’t publish the grommet spacing, so our drawing places the grommets at the standard spacing. At 11 in on the ring edge, the pouch matches letter paper; binders built to other hole spacings, such as many A4 binders, may not line up.
